It might be reasonably expected, therefore, that the postsynaptic dense degeneration shown here after cortical lesions would be stainable by the Fink-Heimer methods. CURTIS: What about the endings of fibers which fluoresce? LUND: Terminals containing granular vesicles are rare in the geniculate, but, of course, it is quite possible that some of the agranular vesiclecontaining terminals fluoresce.
