Abstract
This volume provides coverage of all the Asian American groups from an historical and socio-cultural perspective. This edition focuses on intraracial and interracial marriages, and provides new coverage of the increasing aculturalism of Southeast Asian Refugees. It also: considers increased incidents of violence against tourists from Asia; examines redress for Japanese Americans from the US government; summarizes immigration laws and their effects; expands content to reflect development of the 1980s and early 1990s; and includes 1990 census data.
