Abstract

Abstract This paper presents the field of hospitality management as an intersection between the two prevailing paradigms in management – the production and the service paradigms. The paper demonstrates how production and service paradigms relate to hospitality management. The paper proposes an inter-paradigmatic program for hospitality researchers, educators, managers and practitioners in an effort to develop and agenda for research, education and practice in hospitality management.
