Abstract

Abstract : Both 0.1 mg of l-hyoscine and mild heat degrade performance. When presented together the effect of the combination cannot be predicted from the separate effects. This is because performance in one condition is affected by the other conditions included in the experimental design. Measures of performance are not all equally sensitive to mild stresses. Which tasks are said to be affected by 0.1 mg of l-hyoscine depends upon the measure of performance used.
