Abstract
1 It is acknowledged that aggregating heterogeneous capital inputs can cause major theoretical problems, which refute the idea of a neoclassical production function (see Brown, 1980 for further details). This study follows convention by treating each capital input as homogeneous, to the extent that capital services to the user are independent of the particular capital good from which they were obtained.
