TL;DR

It was hypothesized that the patterns of cognitive differentiation of Ss on verge of delinquency would be similar to those found in institutionalized delinquents and differ from those of non-delinquent boys.

Abstract

Patterns of self-perception and perception of parental attitudes toward the self of 25 boys on verge of delinquency were studied. It was hypothesized that the patterns of cognitive differentiation of Ss on verge of delinquency would be similar to those found in institutionalized delinquents and differ from those of non-delinquent boys. The hypothesis was supported.
