Abstract A reliable method which permits the simultaneous measurement of pregnenolone, progesterone, 17-OH-progesterone, androstenedione, testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, estrone and estradiol in rat testis is described. After extraction of testicular homogenate with methanol, the method includes separation on a LH-20 column and steroid measurement by specific radioimmunoassays.
