Abstract

Abstract The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) is Division 14 of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The mission of SIOP is “to enhance human well‐being and performance in organizational and work settings by promoting the science, practice, and teaching of industrial‐organizational psychology” ( http://www.siop.org/siophoshin.aspx ). Industrial organizational psychology (IO) applies psychological principles to the development of strategies that build better organizations that contribute to the health and well‐being of both individual employees and the organizations for which they work.
