Abstract
In this paper, an evaluation method for product form attractiveness based on Miryoku Engineering was proposed. First is to identify the product form attractive factors. Then Conjoint Analysis was employed to obtain product form attractiveness to consumers. This method can help designers to grasp consumers’ preferences to product form attractiveness and specify design objectives. The application on electric kettle was provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed evaluation method.
