Abstract

A principal-components analysis of the Almost Perfect Scale—Revised and 2 other measures of perfectionism yielded 3 higher order factors that were used to predict locus of control, anxiety, and psychological distress. The Maladaptive factor accounted for the most variance. These results are discussed along with suggestions for future research.
