Abstract
The business community and the professional schools committed to serving the business community have a serious stake in the character and integrity of its present and future managers. This paper reports some of the attitudes toward ethics held by graduate and under graduate students who are anticipating careers as managers, and it also looks at behavior they report. These future managers are present consumers and future products of our educational institutions. What they think and do while they are associated with our institutions will impact higher education in general and business education in parti cular. Or to put it more personally, what our students bring to the class room and do while they are with us may affect the process and outcomes of our efforts to teach business ethics.
