Soon, however, reports of toxicity following the administration of these related substances appeared in the literature. Leukopenia, granulocytopenia and agranulocytosis were three of the more serious of the toxic manifestations.Young1in 1937, and Johnston2in 1938 were the first to report cases...References1.
