Abstract

This research is directed at determining which airline time strategies and temporal advantages are most effective in achieving favorable consumer-perceived quality. This article reviews time-based literature in the context of internal firm time advantages and specific external time advantages. This is followed by the study's research questions and a description of the methodology employed to answer these research questions. After presenting the study's results, a conclusions section provides implications for temporal theory, managerial practices, and a broadening of transportation's role and future influence. Limitations and potential future research areas are also discussed.
