Abstract

The changing role of first-line supervisors caused by the socio-technological changes of her past decade necessitates adjustments in corporate management education programs. The type of skills taught in first-line supervisory training programs can indicate the prevailing management philosophy. The majority of the surveyed Fortune 500 companies stressed traditional technical skills.
