Abstract

We report further evidence for fractional charge of $\ensuremath{\sim}\frac{1}{3}e$ on niobium spheres. With a modified apparatus in which we can determine all of the background dipole forces we have measured fractional charges of $(0.304\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.040)e$ and $(0.345\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.035)e$.
