Abstract
A study of Asian hospitality students was undertaken to determine why theycame for an American education, how they heard about the program, and whatsupport services they needed. The study revealed that academic reputation of boththe university and the program are important, as are academic facilities, coursevariety, and other variables. Services desired were tutors, scholarships, matchedpeer advisors, home newspapers, and helpful faculty advisors.
