Abstract
Organized into four main parts, this volume examines the treatment of technology in international trade theory, emphasizing the development technology in theories of trade and including common features of empirical work relating differences in innovation to trade; the impact of innovation on inter-country trade; an analysis of the impact of technology on the international performance of firms; and the impact of innovation on trade at the level of the firm for a group of UK firms.
