Abstract
Demand-driven dispatch is a well-known example of a successful integration of revenue management and scheduling practices. We provide an overview of this process of dynamic capacity reallocation based on information available in revenue management systems. The reasons for revenue performance improvements are provided and existing practical approaches as well as possible ways of improvement and future development are described.
