To examine the stability of facial attractiveness from early childhood to young adulthood, 100 university students were asked to rate facial photographs of nine males and nine females at each of five age-levels: 5 to 8 years; shortly before the onset of puberty; mid-puberty; immediately post-puberty; and at 19 to 22 years of age
