Abstract

Of the many innovations emerging from research, little is known regarding their overall importance. Further, the area concerning innovations is unexplored. This study used the Delphi process to identify important innovations from recreation management in the past 20 years and rated their relative importance for meeting specific management goals. The Delphi process obtains a consensus of a group of experts regarding specific issues through a series of mailed questionnaires.
