Abstract Effective teaching via broadcast media requires many preparation and delivery considerations beyond normal classroom teaching. Provided in this article is a six-step process” to effectively deliver broadcast classes. Pre-delivery preparation, on-air and online communications, and suggestions for effective audience retention are discussed. Methodologies are suggested to help the presenter move up the hierarchy of learning. Interactive teaching techniques, support media approaches and other tips for delivery success are provided.
