Abstract

A major determinant of performance is organizational design, the structures or processes, within the organization. This research examined the relationships of organizational climate, supervisor and peer leadership behaviors, and quality of group interactions to productivity and satisfaction within 20 public health nursing work groups. Implications of findings for strategies to improve organizational outcomes are discussed.
