Abstract
Fractal characters of the dielectric breakdown patterns in three dimensions are studied within the Niemeyer-Pietronero-Wiesmann model by means of direct numerical simulation. Two cases are analyzed: (1) two-dimensional patterns in a three-dimensional Laplace field and (2) three-dimensional patterns in a three-dimensional Laplace field.
