Abstract
Abstract Tax‐limitation referenda and a presidential administration bullish on privatization have resulted in widespread use of the private sector to deliver state and local services. For years the stragglers of the privatization movement, states have more recently taken responsible and innovative steps toward involving the private sector in the areas of parks and recreation and human services.
