Abstract

This book is grounded in the ‘real world’. It is centred on a practice perspective and there are links throughout to the clinical setting. The preface captures the challenges that many qualitative researchers face when being encouraged to adopt a quantitative approach by supervisors or funders of research. Chris Bassett is clearly passionate about qualitative approaches to research, which is evident in the writing and will help engage the reader.
