TL;DR

Investigations to the motor cortex of a primate, the common African baboon, are extended to incorporate the method of intracellular recording from pyramidal neurones because it seemed unlikely that the modes of direct and synaptic excitation of these neurones would differ materially from those already seen in the cat.
