Abstract
The following article is Part II of a two-part article on “Theory in a Practice Discipline.” Part I, entitled “Practice Oriented Theory,” appeared in the September-October 1968 issue of Nursing Research and dealt with the relation of theory to practice and with the appropriate structure of any practice theory and, more appropriately, of nursing theory.
