Abstract

Using the ideas and methods of big data, this paper systematically summarizes the existing problems in traditional regional logistics and freightage. These problems include block segmentation in the management system, outdated data collection technology and processing methods, and troubles in data resources sharing. These problems result in the inefficient operation and unfit layout of regional logistics and freightage. This paper integrates the results from traditional regional logistics and freight transportation development research to study how to establish an optimization model for modern regional logistics and freight transportation using big data methods which have the characteristics of Volume, Velocity, Variety and Value. This research intends to make the layout of the regional logistics and freight transportation more reasonable and management more efficient. Additionally, support for the theory and methods to improve the development of regional logistics and freight transportation are provided.
