Abstract
Performance of organic multilayer dye electroluminescent (EL) diodes which are prepared by vacuum vapor deposition of several organic dyes are compared with that of polymer EL diodes which are prepared from main-chain π-conjugated polymers. Similarity and dissimilarity of multilayer-dye LED and polymer LED are discussed.
