Abstract
This study is valuable to data warehousing practitioners and researchers because it identifies key areas that organizations need to address in their implementation process. The exploratory factor analyses on both the Actual-scale and the Should-scale produced several factors not previously found in the body of implementation literature, as well as identified additional items contributing to previously classified factors affecting system implementation. Many of these items supported the ideas expressed by the experts during the semi-structured interviews as being unique to data warehousing implementations.
