Abstract
Abstract Recent developments in conjoint analysis include the introduction of hybrid models in which part worths estimated from self-explicated data are combined with information obtained from full profile evaluations. This paper extends the hybrid approach to conjoint problems entailing multiple suppliers, with particular emphasis on competitive price relationships.

The tests indicate that valid parameter estimates and similar forecasts are obtained with linear, multiplicative, and attraction models and better share forecasts generally are obtained from models with brand-specific parameterization and OLS estimation.
